THURSDAY DAILY REPORT

YES INDEED...ANOTHER NICE SPRING DAY.
68 TODAY, 71 TOMORROW, 73 SATURDAY.

FIRST A CORRECTION....REGINA SAGERS WILL BE 103 SUNDAY.
AND I UNDERSTAND HELEN STEWART WILL BE 97 ON APRIL 22ND.

AT THE WEEKLY CONSTRUCTION UPDATE MEETING THIS MORNING,
WE LEARNED THAT NORTH MAIN STREET FROM JAMES STREET SOUTH
TO PLATT WILL BE CLOSED STARTING MONDAY AND WILL BE CLOSED
UNTIL MID-AUGUST.     IT IS THE STREET GOING PAST KMAQ.     THE
DRIVE-UP MAIL BOX WILL BE MOVED, EFFECTIVE MONDAY, AND WILL BE LOCATED TO THE WEST SIDE OF THE POST OFFICE, NEAR THE UTILITY SHED.
THE DISTRICT POSTAL OFFICIALS IN DES MOINES HAVE STILL NOT DECIDED WHETHER OR NOT THERE WILL BE A SATTELITE POST OFFICE SET UP AT
THE MAQUOKETA CITY HALL.  


 A BIRTH:     A GIRL BORN TO BILLY AND BRIANNA KIRK OF MAQUOKETA.
SHE HAS A BROTHER, 18 MONTHS.    PATERNAL GRANDPARENTS ARE
BOB AND MELANIE KIRK OF MAQUOKETA AND MATERNAL GRANDPARENTS
ARE JEFF AND SHERRY BAKER OF M AQUOKETA.
