MONDAY DAILY REPORT

A HALF INCH OF RAIN OVERNIGHT LAST NIGHT....BEST RAINFALL SO FAR
THIS SPRING.
TODAY, SUNNY AND 63.
REST OF WEEK LOOKS PRETTY GOOD.

THE  MAQUOKETA FIRE DEPARTMENT WAS CALLED TO THE INTERSECTION OF 150TH AND HIGHWAY 61 AROUND 11:30 YESTERDAY MORNING FOR A HASMAT CALL.    THERE WAS AN ANHYDROUS  TANK UPSIDE DOWN
BY RICHARD SCHNOOR'S PLACE.    IT WAS EMPTY AND NOT LEAKING.  
B & G WERE CALLED TO FLIP THE TANK BACK UP AND AN ALL-CLEAR
WAS GIVEN AT 12:23 P.M.

MAQUOKETA SCHOOL BOARD MEETING TONIGHT.

IRVIN KOOS, AGE 90, OF LAMOTTE DIED YESTERDAY.     THE FUNERAL WILL
BE AT 10:30 WEDNESDAY AT THE CATHOLIC CHURCH AT BELLEVUE.
SURVIVORS INCLUDE HIS WIFE, AND 8 CHILDREN, INCLUDING LINDA
KOOS OF MAQUOKETA AND JOYCE KOHRT OF MAQUOKETA.
HACHMAN FUNERAL HOME IN BELLEVUE IS IN CHARGE OF ARRANGEMENTS.
