WE WENT TO ''A CHRISTMAS STORY" SATURDAY NIGHT AT THE OHNWARD FINE
ARTS CENTER IN MAQUOKETA, PUT ON BY THE PEACE PIPE PLAYERS AND OHNWARD.     WHEN WE ARRIVED, THE CAROLER'S CHOIR WAS SINGING CHRISTMAS CAROLS  OUTSIDE AT THE ENTRANCE.   THEY ALSO SANG TWICE ON STAGE.
THEN IN THE LOBBY, THE FESTIVAL OF TREES.  IT WAS A GREAT PRODUCTION, DIRECTED BY SHARON GOETTLER.      VERY NICE NIGHT TO BEGIN THE CHRISTMAS
SEASON.    AS EXPECTED, JOHN BURROW DID A FANTASTIC JOB AS SCROOGE.     THE CAST NUMBERED OVER 50.    GOOD  ATTENDANCE BOTH  FRIDAY NIGHT AND LAST NIGHT.    THE FINAL PERFORMANCE AT 2 THIS AFTERNOON.    CLICK-ON

CENTER.

ON DISPLAY SUBMITTED BY VARIOUS INDIVIDUALS OR BUSINESS PLACES.
THIS ONE WAS JUDGED THE TOP WREATH.

THE IOWA HAWKEYE TREE.    SATURDAY NIGHT, IT HAD THE HIGHEST SILENT
AUCTION BID OF $350.00.     IT GOES TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER AFTER THE
FESTIVAL CLOSES WEDNESDAY NIGHT, NOVEMBER 25TH.

THE DISPLAY IS FREE TO SEE ANY DAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY,THE DAY BEFORE
THANKSGIVING.    ALL TREES ARE BEING SOLD AT SILENT AUCTION WITH PROCEEDS GOING TO OHNWARD.    A NICE DISPLAY.   YOU'LL ENJOY IT.
