OF DELMAR, WAS DRIVING WEST ON COUNTY ROAD D53 IN JACKSON COUNTY AND HIT A DEER AT 9 AM MONDAY. $5,000 DAMAGE.
NO INJURIES.
AS THE JACKSON COUNTY FAIR IS GOING ON THIS WEEK, ONE OF THE FAIR BOARD MEMBERS HAS DIED. BILL CASEL, 79, OF LaMOTTE DIED YESTERDAY AT MERCY IN DUBUQUE AFTER A SUDDEN ILLNESS. THE FUNERAL WILL BE TUESDAY AT ST. LAWRENCE CHURCH IN OTTER CREEK. HE FARMED MOST
OF HIS LIFE AND RAISED QUARTER HORSES. HE IS SURVED BY HIS WIFE AND 4 CHILDREN AND 11 GRANDCHILDREN.
