NICE TODAY...HIGH OF 64.

AT THE SCHOOL BOARD MEETING LAST NIGHT, THE BOARD AGREED TO SPEND NEARLY $200,000 IN THE NEXT YEAR FOR UPGRADES TO THE DISTRICT'S TECHNOLOGY.
MONEY WILL COME FROM THE LOCAL OPTION SALES TAX AND PHYSICAL PLANT AND EQUIPMENT LEVY.

ONE SAME-SEX COUPLE RECEIVED AN APPLICATION FOR A MARRIAGE LICENSE YESTERDAY AT THE JACKSON COUNTY COURT HOUSE. JACKSON COUNTY RECORDER ARLENE SCHAUF SAID THE COUPLES NAMES ARE NOT MADE PUBLIC UNTIL THE MARRIAGE CERTIFICATES ARE RETURNED SAYING THEY HAVE GOTTEN MARRIED.
THAT'S NO DIFFERENT THAN ANY OTHER MARRIAGE LICENSE ISSUED.

TWO MAQUOKETA BOYS WERE CAUGHT MARKING WINDOWS IN TOWN YESTERDAY AFTERNOON WITH LIQUID WINDOW CHALK. CHIEF OF POLICE BRAD KORANDA
MADE THEM CLEAN-UP ALL THE WINDOWS. THEIR NAMES WERE NOT RELEASED.

THANKS FOR CHECKING IN AGAIN.
