TWO PEDESTRIANS WERE HIT BY A VEHICLE SATURDAY MORNING AT MAIN AND PLATT.    THE POLICE CHARGED THE DRIVER, BOB HEAD, AGE 74,
OF MAQUOKETA WITH FAILURE TO  YIELD TO PEDESTRIAN RIGHT OF WAY.
HEAD BEGAN TO TURN LEFT ON  A GREEN LIGHT TO SOUTH MAIN.
THE STREET WAS CLOSED BECAUSE OF THE 5K RUN AND HEAD DID NOT
SEE THE PEDESTRIANS AND HIT BOTH OF THEM.    BRENDA STUTTING, AGE 62 AND HER HUSBAND GERALD STUTTING, AGE 67, OF DILLSBURG, PA .WERE KNOCKED DOWN.   THE AMBULANCE WAS CALLED BUT THEY BOTH REFUSED  MEDICAL TREATMENT.
