MONDAY DAILY REPORT

SATURDAY AND SUNDAY SHOULD BE SUNNY AND CLOSE TO 60.

JOSHUA SUNDSTROM, 35, OF RURAL JONES COUNTY IS THE 3RD PERSON
TO FILE AS A REPUBLICAN FOR THE SEAT THAT WILL BE VACATED BY
REP. BRIAN MOORE AT THE END OF THE YEAR.    THE OTHER TWO
ARE  RANDY FORREST AND ALLEN ERNST.   SUNSTROM ANNOUNED
FRIDAY.    HE OWNS 3 CONVENIENCE STORES, IS MARRIED AND HAS 5 CHILDREN.

CITY COUNCIL MEETING TONIGHT WITH LOTS OF THINGS ON THE AGENDA.

KAREN JOHNSON, AGE 76, DIED FRIDAY IN MISSOURI.   AMONG HER SURVIVORS, ARE TWO BROTHERS, JOHN ZISMER AND TED NIMS, BOTH OF MAQUOKETA.

CHLOE LUETT PAHIGIANIS, AGE 74, OF KILDEER, ILLINOIS DIED MARCH 3RD.
AMONG HER SURVIVORS ARE HER BROTHER, DAVE LUETT OF MAQUOKETA.

MARTIN POWERS, 74, OF TENNESSEE DIED SATURDAY.    HE WAS BORN
IN DELMAR.    AMONG HIS SURVIVORS IS MARGO SHOUSE OF
MAQUOKETA.

THE TWO TOP MOVIES THIS PAST WEEKEND IN THE U.S.A. ARE BOTH
SHOWING IN MAQUOKETA AND DID VERY WELL OVER THE WEEKEND
AT THE VOY THEATRES.

TERESA HOSCH OF MAQUOKETA STARTED TODAY AS KMAQ'S
NEWS DIRECTOR.     SHE DID HER FIRST NEWSCAST AT 12:15 AND
IT WENT WELL!
