WEDNESDAY DAILY REPORT

BEAUTIFUL DAY TODAY...SUNNY AND COOL...HIGH OF 75.
TOMORROW SHOULD BE GREAT TOO...HIGH OF 80.
RAIN POSSIBLE FRIDAY.
SATURDAY, SLIGHT CHANCE OF RAIN.

A MAQUOKETA MAN WAS JAILED AFTER HE BRANDISHED A GUN AT EMMA COURT APARTMENTS AROUND NOON YESTERDAY.
SEVERAL CHARGES WERE FILED AGAINST AUSTIN STREETS, AGE 23.
HE WAS ARMED WITH A RIFLE AND POINTED IT AT JOSHUA FITE.
NO SHOTS WERE FIRED.   HE ALSO THREW A RED BRICK AT FITE AND
DID SOME DAMAGE TO THE SQUAD CAR.

THERE MAY IN THE FUTURE BE SOME ALL TERRAIN VEHICLES ON JACKSON COUNTY ROADS.   THE IDEA WAS DISCUSSED AT THE SUPERVISORS MEETING YESTERDAY, WHEN COUNTY ATV MEMBERS APPEARED AT THE MEETING.

IN SPORTS, THE MAQUOKETA BASEBALL TEAM WILL FACE THE DEWITT
SABERS IN THE CLASS 3-A TOURNAMENT ON JULY 18TH.
IT WILL BE A 7 P.M. GAME IN MAQUOKETA.
THE CARDINAL-SABERS SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT GAME IS AT 7 P.M.
TOMORROW NIGHT AT DEWITT AND WILL BE BROADCAST ON KMAQ.

KMAQ IS TAKING A BUS TO THE STATE FAIR.   MORE TOMORROW.
