THURSDAY DAILY REPORT

9 BELOW THIS MORNING....
TODAY A NICE WINTER DAY...
HAS BEEN GREAT FOR THE KMAQ FARM AND HOME SHOW...
HIGH TODAY IN THE TEENS AND THE REST OF THE WEEK WE WILL
BE IN THE 30'S.

TODAY WAS BEEF DAY AND WE RAN OUT OF BURGERS AT 1 P.M. AND
THEN USED UP SOME PORK LOINS LEFT FROM LAST NIGHT AND RAN OUT
OF THOSE BY 1:30.   RAN OUT OF BEANS AND CHIPS TOO.   SO FOR THE
AFTERNOON WE  HAD HOTDOGS, POP AND COFFEE.    THE END OF SHOW
....4:30 THIS AFTERNOON.

THE FRIENDS OF AGRICULTURE AWARDS WERE PRESENTED DURING THE NOON HOUR BY THE MAQUOKETA ROTARY CLUB AND THE MAQUOKETA
CHAMBER OF COMMERCE.

YESTERDAY, KMAQ HAD 34 ENTRIES FOR THE BAKING CONTEST THAT CALLED FOR ANYTHING BAKED WITH CHOCOLATE INCLUDED.  THE WINNERS BELOW:

NIGHT, SATURDAY FEB 14TH,  AT THE OHNWARD FINE ARTS CENTER IN  MAQUOKETA.   AND SHE WILL ALSO HEADLINE THE SHOW FOR THE ANNUAL JACKSON-CLINTON COUNTY DAIRY ASSOCIATION BANQUET AT THE FAIRGROUNDS ON MARCH 28TH.

AGAIN THIS YEAR (THIS SUMMER, STARTING HIS 41ST YEAR AT KMAQ) HE WAS THE PRODUCER-DIRECTOR OF THE SHOW.    LOTS OF WORK WITH HELP FROM KMAQ'S THREE SALES REPS, ROXANNE CLAUSING, LOIS FISCHER AND DEB GERARDY.
