IN POLITICAL NEWS, AS ANNOUNCED EARLIER, SEN. TOD BOWMAN (D) IS RUNNING FOR RE-ELECTION.
TWO REPUBLICANS HAVE FILED FOR THE SEAT AND SO THERE WILL
BE A PRIMARY CONTEST BETWEEN THEM.   ONE IS JIM BUDDE OF BELLEVUE AND THE OTHER IS FORMER DYERSVILLE MAYOR JIM HEAVENS.
TOMORROW IS THE DEADLINE TO FILE FOR STATE OFFICES.

DEWITT VERSUS WAVERLY-SHELL ROCK TONIGHT AT THE BOY'S STATE
TOURNAMENT IN DES MOINES.   LEIGHTON HEPKER WILL BE AT THE MIKE ON KMAQ-FM, (95.1)  AT 8 TONIGHT WITH THE PRE-GAME SHOW.....AND TIP-OFF AT 8:15.   GO SABERS!
