MONDAY DAILY

MAQUOKETA HIGH SCHOOL ACTIVITIES DIRECTOR TOM GRUENWALD AND OTHERS THOUGHT IT WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA FOR MAQUOKETA SCHOOLS TO HAVE A "HALL OF FAME".    A COMMITTEE WAS FORMED.   NOMINATIONS
WERE SOUGHT.   THIS MORNING AT THE HIGH SCHOOL GYM, TOM ANNOUCED THE WINNERS OF THE FIRST "HALL OF FAME". 
BELOW, THE STORY AS IT AIRED TODAY ON KMAQ NEWS:



 A BEAUTIFUL NIGHT, A GREAT BAND, AND ONLY 125 PEOPLE ATTENDED THE FREE CONCERT IN THE
GREEN SPACE, DOWNTOWN MAQUOKETA.   
IT WAS A GOOD SHOW...SORRY YOU MISSED IT!

YOU COULD WATCH THE SHOW ON STAGE, OR
GLANCE TO LEFT TO SEE EQUIPMENT ON DUG-UP
MAIN STREET.
AND THERE WAS A "BELLY" DANCER WITH THE
BAND.    SHE PERFORMED TWICE TO THE 
DELIGHT OF THE.....ALL?

RIDGE ASSISTANT LIVING" IN MAQUOKETA.  THAT'S SALLY DAVIES OF CLOVER RIDGE IN THE MIDDLE.
ONE MORE FREE CONCERT IN SEPTEMBER.
