JUDY VAN HECKE HAS SOLD HER BUILDING AND THE "SHOPPER".

SHE HAS BEEN WORKING IN DOWNTOWN MAQUOKETA FOR 45 YEARS AND

36 OF THEM AS THE OWNER OF THE "SHOPPER".     "MAKE IT YOURS" LOCATED

NEXT DOOR IN THE TWO BUSINESS BUILDING WILL RUN A PRINT SHOP WHERE THE 

"SHOPPER" WAS.     THE "SHOPPER" WAS PURCHASED BY NIENKE ROOFING ACROSS 

THE STREET AND WILL PUBLISH IT.     JUDY WILL RETIRE.     


WORK GOES ON DAILY AND IT IS LOOKING BETTER EVERY DAY,  ACROSS FROM

CITY  HALL.

THE "WOUNDED WARRIORS" VETERANS CYCLE EVENT WAS TODAY, WITH MAJORSTOP AT DELMAR OVER NOON HOUR.     WELL OVER 300 CYCLES MADE IT ANDHAD A GREAT TIME WITH  THE FRIENDLY HOSTS FROM DELMAR.     

FIRST LOOK AT THE NEW BAR AND GRILL ON THE CORNER DOWNTOWN,  FORMER
BANK BUILDING.     DINING ROOM OPENS IN EARLY OCTOBER AND THERE IS
A NEW ICE CREAM STORE GETTING READY TO OPEN ACROSS THE STREET.
BOTH WILL BE MAKING DELMAR  A DESTINATION TOWN.    

PLANS FOR CHRISTMAS  IN THE WORKS AT DELMAR.

DELMAR IS "DOIN' IT" !!

BIG PORK DINNER SUNDAY AT ST. JOES IN BELLEVUE AND THE ANNUAL

CAR SHOW SUNDAY AT DELMAR.


RED HENTON IS 101 TODAY.    A PARTY FOR HIM AT THE MAQUOKETA BREWERY AT 7 

AND

RED WILL SING WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS.
