ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL DAY (HIGH OF 70) AND MORE LIKE IT COMING!

REPLACING THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER BRIDGE BETWEEN SABULA AND
SAVANNA IS IN THE "PLANNING" STAGE BY THE IOWA DOT.    STATE
OFFICIALS HAVE ADDED THE SABULA BRIDGE TO THEIR DRAFT PROGRAM.
A NEW BRIDGE IS A LONG WAY OFF I'M SURE, BUT AT LEAST IT IS BEING
DISCUSSED.

MAQUOKETA COMMUNITY SCHOOL PARENTS RECEIVED A LETTER THIS
WEEK ABOUT A POTENTIAL FOR WHOOPING COUGH.    ANN OTTEMAN, OF
THE JACKSON COUNTY HOME AND COMMUNITY HEALTH DEPARTMENT,
SAID IN THE LETTER THAT A MAQUOKETA  ELEMENTARY STUDENT CAME DOWN WITH SYMPTONS OF PERTUSSIS OR WHOPPING COUGH, WHICH IS
VERY CONTAGIOUS.       OTTEMAN SAID THE CASE IS CALLED "UNDETERMINED"
BECAUSE THE TEST WASN'T COMPLETELY POSITIVE.

SORRY, SHORT REPORT TODAY.
