MONDAY DAILY REPORT

NICE DAY....SUNNY AND HIGH OF 75.
THE REST OF THE WEEK WILL BE JUST LIKE IT.
FALL ARRIVES TONIGHT.

IN FOOTBALL, MAQUOKETA LOST TO DUBUQUE WAHLERT FRIDAY NIGHT.
THE CARDINALS ARE NOW 0 AND 4.

TWO VEHICLES COLLIDED YESERDAY AFTERNOON IN THE WALMART PARKING LOT.      PAULA MILLER, 46, OF MAQUOKETA WAS BACKING OUT
OF A PARKING SPOT AND HIT A VEHICLE DRIVEN BY STEFANIE BAAS, 23,
OF MAQUOKETA.   NO INJURIES OR CHARGES FILED.

AN RTA BUS HIT THE BACK OF A MANURE SPREADER FRIDAY AFTERNOON NEAR BELLEVUE.     NO INJURIES.    GERALD MILLER, 60, OF MAQUOKETA WAS DRIVING THE BUS AND MET A TRACTOR PULLING A WAGON AND AS THE
TRACTOR PASSED THE BUS, IT CREATED A CLOUD OF DUST.    THEREFORE,
MILLER DID NOT SEE THE SPREADER AND THE BUS HIT THE BACK OF IT,
DRIVEN BY AUSTIN BLASER, AGE 16, OF BELLEVUE.    NO CHARGES AND
NO INUJURIES.   $4,500 DAMAGES TO THE RTA BUS OWNED BY DELAWARE
COUNTY.   $500 IN DAMAGES TO THE  SPREADER, OWNED BY HOLDGRAFER
DAIRY FARMS.

A NEW FUNERAL HOME WILL OPEN IN THE FORMER OWL FURNITURE
BUILDING ON NORTH MAIN STREET, VACANT FOR MANY YEARS.
THE OWNER WILL BE COURTNEY DAWSON, WHO IS A LICENSED FUNERAL
PERSON AT LAHEY FUNERAL HOME IN MAQUOKETA.

DAWSON. 

THE PET STORE IS NO LONGER IN BUSINESS ON SOUTH JONES AVENUE.
I NOTICED THIS WHEN DRIVING PAST IT YESTERDAY.
