HAD REMOVED TWO FLAGS FROM HER FLAG POLE OUTSIDE HER HOME.

IN BUSINESS NEWS, THE RADIO SHACK STORE ON WEST PLATT STREET IS NOW
KNOWN AS THE ELECTRONICS PLUS STORE. BASICALLY, THE SAME ITEMS FOR SALE AS IN PAST.
LONGTIME BUSINESSMAN JOHN WAGENER REMAINS THE OWNER AND JUDY DAGUE CONTINUES AS MANAGER AT THE SAME LOCATION.

DISAPPEAR IN THE BUSINESS WORLD IN THE TIMBER CITY.

FURNISHINGS UNLIMITED IS CLOSING IN DOWNTOWN MAQUOKETA AND A CLOSING SALE
IS BEING HELD NOW. SO, BILL MOLER'S CLOTHING BUILDING (EMPTY FOR NEARLY 3 YEARS) SOON GETS AN OCCUPANT (DIAPER BUSINESS) AND RIGHT NEXT DOOR, THE FURNISHINGS STORE WILL BE EMPTY SOON. AND A CHANGE IS COMING UP AT THE DOWNTOWN BAKERY. MORE ON THAT LATER.
