FRIDAY DAILY REPORT

CLOUDY THIS MORNING, SUNNY THIS AFTERNOON AND COOL
IN THE 60'S TODAY.     DOWN INTO THE 40'S TONIGHT.
TOMORROW AND SUNDAY AND MONDAY (COLUMBUS DAY) ALL LOOK
GOOD.

JUST CAME BACK FROM MAQUOKETA STATE BANK AND SIGN IN THE DOOR
REMINDS EVERYONE THAT MONDAY,THE BANK WILL BE CLOSED IN
OBSERVANCE OF COLUMBUS DAY.      MANY PEOPLE WILL HAVE A DAY
OFF MONDAY.

EMMA LENNON, AGE 16 AND LYLE FLATNESS, AGE 65, BOTH OF
MAQUOKETA WERE IN A TWO-CAR ACCIDENT AROUND 3:30 YESTERDAY
AFTERNOON.   IT HAPPENED ON WEST PLATT WHEN LENNON REAR-ENDED
THE FLATNESS VEHICLE.     $3,500 DAMAGE TO LENNON'S 2001 FORD AND $1,000 DAMAGE TO THE FLATNESS 1997 FORD F-150.   NO ONE INJURED AND LENNON WAS CITED FOR FAILURE TO STOP IN THE ASSURRED CLEAR DISTANCE.

A BIRTH:   MISSY AND BRYAN JANSSEN OF SPRINGVILLE, ARE PARENTS OF A BOY, BORN OCT. 3RD AT MERCY IN CEDAR RAPIDS.    PATERNAL GRANDPARENTS ARE DENNIS AND KAREN JANNSEN IN PELLA AND
MATERNAL GRANDPARENTS ARE PAUL AND SANDRA GERLACH OF
RURAL MAQUOKETA.    BEAU IS MISSY AND BRYAN'S FIRST CHILD.

IN SPORTS:
MAQUOKETA HOSTS SOLON TONIGHT.   THE CARDS ARE 3 AND 1 IN THE
DISTRICT AND THE SPARTANS ARE 2 AND 1.
MATT CLARK WILL HAVE THE GAME AT 7:15 HERE ON THE KMAQ
WEB SITE.   I WILL POST THE SCORE HERE TOMORROW MORNING.
