NICE DAY TODAY....IN 70'S...AND IT WILL CONTINUE THIS WAY UNTIL THE END OF THE FAIR SUNDAY!

THE MASTER GARDENER'S "BUCK OF BLOOMS" FAIR COMPETITION RESULTS:

FAIRGOERS CAN NOW VOTE FOR PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARD FOR SCARECROWS.   THEY ARE LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF BOYER HALL.
WINNERS WILL BE ANNOUNCED SUNDAY AFTERNOON.

A COUPLE OF WINDOWS WERE BROKEN OUT AT THE FORMER BETTER HOMES FURNITURE (THEN OWL FURNITURE)  BUILDING ON NORTH MAIN STREET.    THE BANK WHICH OWNS THE BUILDING CALLED THE POLICE TO REPORT THE INCIDENT.
I WAS NOT AWARE THAT A BANK NOW OWNS THE BUILDING.

      MEET THE PARADE MARSHALS FOR THE JACKSON COUNTY FAIR PARADE
                                       BILL AND NORMA CASEL OF OTTER CREEK.
HORSES HAVE BEEN A BIG PART OF THEIR LIFE.     AND OVER THE YEARS,
THEY HAVE HELPED WITH MANY OPEN CLASS HORSE SHOWS AT THE FAIR.
BILL INTRODUCED NORMA TO THE EQUINE WORLD AFTER THEY WERE MARRIED 59 YEARS AGO.    THEY HAVE A DAUGHTER CINDY, THREE
GRANDSONS,  ELEVEN GRANDCHILDREN  AND EIGHT GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN.    NO...THEY WON'T BE RIDING HORSES IN THE PARADE
TONIGHT.....THEY WILL BE RIDING IN A CONVERTIBLE.   THIS PHOTO WAS TAKEN THIS MORNING AHEAD OF APPEARING ON KMAQ'S "JUST TALK" SHOW.
