WEDNESDAY DAILY

WHEN YOU COME INTO MAQUOKETA FROM DAVENPORT, JUST BEFORE YOU TAKE
THE FIRST S MAIN ST EXIT, UP ON THE HILL, YOU CAN SEE THE NEW HOSPITAL.
I BELIEVE IT WILL BE THE ONLY REAL GOOD AREA ON  HIGHWAY 61 WHERE
THE HOSPITAL WILL BE VISABLE TO THE PUBLIC.
ANYWAY, BELOW ARE 6 PHOTOS AROUND THE HOSPITAL.
A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE WORKING TODAY....MUST HAVE BEEN 50 CONSTRUCTION
EMPLOYEE CARS AS YOU WILL SEE.

ANOTHER MAIN ENTRANCE?    FOR WHO?  NO ANSWER.

MORE EMPLOYEE CARS...THEY ARE PARKED IN FOUR
DIFFERENT AREAS.

AMBULANCE GARAGE AT LEFT....I ASSUME.

THE LOOK OF THE EAST SIDE.
IT IS GOING TO BE BIG.
BUT SMALLER THAN OUR PRESENT ONE.
TOTAL COST.....$36 MILLION IF I REMEMBER RIGHT.
$16 MILLION IN BANK FOR DOWN PAYMENT.
NET PROFIT WILL PAY OFF THE BOND.
NO TAX MONEY TO BUILD IT.
MAYBE, IT WILL BE DONE YET THIS YEAR.
EXCITING!

THIS IS NATIONAL AG WEEK.
90% OF ABOVE FARMS ARE FAMILY FARMS.

IT WAS A SUGGESTION BY THE POPE.     THAT AT NOON, TODAY, AROUND THE WORLD, CHRISTIANS WOULD SAY THE LORD'S PRAYER.    AT 12 NOON, ABOVE, PASTOR NEAL HARRISON AND FATHER AUSTIN WILKER PRAY THE PRAYER ON KMAQ.

MANY YEARS AGO,  PEOPLE ALSO HAD THE SEARS CATALOG.

TAKE CARE...
WASH YOUR HANDS...
PRAY THAT TOMORROW THE CRISIS
WILL BE BETTER, NOT WORSE.

DENNIS VOY
THANK YOU FOR CHECKING IN HERE....
