THE SUN DIDN'T SHINE ON MAQUOKETA UNTIL THIS AFTERNOON.
THEN IT WAS NICE AND WE WARMED  UP TO 29.
TOMORROW, SUNNY AND 37.
RAIN FRIDAY NIGHT AND SATURDAY.

A NEW STATE LAW GOING INTO EFFECT WITH NEW SCHOOL YEAR
THIS AUGUST MANDATES NEW 7TH GRADERS OR STUDENTS ABOUT
13 YEARS OLD TO HAVE A NEW IMMUNIZATION, T-DAP, FOR TETNUS-
DIPTHERIA.        MIDDLE SCHOOL NURSE SAID PARENTS MUST SIGN-UP
ON OR BEFORE MARCH 27TH.   THE COST IS $14.50 AND THE CLINIC
DAY IS COMING UP LATER IN MONTH.

RICH HAINSTOCK, WHO DEVELOPED PRAIRIE CREEK  SUBDIVISION
BEHIND WALMART ABOUT 10 YEARS AGO, IS GOING TO USE SOME
TIF MONEY HE HAS COMING ($45,000) AND WILL BUILD 4 NEW HOMES
IN MAQUOKETA WITHIN THE NEXT TWO YEARS.     THIS WAS DISCUSSED
AT THIS WEEK'S CITY COUNCIL MEETING.
