IT IS SNOWING A LITTLE IN MAQUOKTA.    THE FORECAST IS FOR SEVERAL
INCHES TONIGHT AND TOMORROW.

IN SPORTS:   FRIDAY NIGHT, IN GIRLS BASKETBALL, THE CARDINALS DEFEATED
BECKMAN 52 TO 43.    AND THE BOYS  LOST UP THERE, 53 TO 36.

SATURDAY, AT MONTICELLO, THE GIRLS LOST THE NON-CONF GAME, 45 TO 39
AND ALSO THERE, THE BOYS SNAPPED A 6-GAME LOSING STREAK BEATING
MONTICELLO 38 TO 36.  

BOTH CARDINAL TEAMS ARE NOW 9 AND 10 OVERALL.

BOTH TEAMS WERE TO PLAY MT. VERNON TOMORROW NIGHT,  BUT BECAUSE
OF THE WEATHER FORECAST, THE GAMES HAVE BEEN MOVED UP TO TONIGHT.
AND BOTH WILL BE AT 6:30 TONIGHT.    THE BOYS THERE.
KMAQ-FM WILL BROADCAST THE GIRLS GAME AT MCHS GYM, STARTING
AROUND 6:20 TONIGHT.

ABOUT A DOZEN MAIL BOXES WERE DAMAGED OVER THE WEEKEND.
THE SHERIFF'S OFFICE IS ASKING FOR INFORMATION FROM THE PUBLIC ON
