THE JACKSON COUNTY COMPENSATION BOARD IS PROPOSING A 4% WAGE INCREASE FOR ELECTED COUNTY EMPLOYEES.    THAT WILL MEAN AROUND $2,000 INCREASES FOR MANY COUNTY EMPLOYEES.
THE SUPERVISORS MAKE THE FINAL DECISION.

THE CATTLEMEN'S BANQUET IS THIS SATURDAY NIGHT AT THE PEARSON
CENTER ON THE FAIRGROUNDS, OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.    $20 TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AT THE DOOR STARTING AT 6  P.M.    BROOKE BYAM, RED HENTON'S GRANDDAUGHER FROM NASHVILLE WILL ENTERTAIN WITH FRIENDS FROM NASHVILLE.
