WEDNESDAY DAILY

            "MR. FARMER'S MARKET MAQUOKETA"
TED STRAIT SPOKE AT ROTARY TODAY (HE IS A MEMBER TOO) ABOUT THE 2019 FARMER'S MARKET
OPENING FOR THE SEASON (EVERY TUESDAY AS
ALWAYS) ON TUESDAY, MAY 14.    FOUR TO SEVEN P.M.
ONE OF BIGGEST AND BEST IN IOWA.   TED'S 6TH
YEAR AS A VOLUNTEER TO HEAD IT UP.     STARTED
WITH ABOUT 7 VENDORS AND NOW AVERAGES AROUND 14 AND  HAS HAD AS HIGH AT 19.    COST
FOR A VENDOR IS $75 A SEASON OR $10 PER TUESDAY.
PRODUCE AND OTHER FOOD, WINE, MUSIC,  FOOD
BAR (COME FOR SUPPER) AND KID'S PLAYLAND.
BIGGER AND BETTER THIS YEAR OF COURSE!
MARK IT (MAY 14) ON YOUR CALENDAR....AND EVERY TUESDAY ON THE CALENDAR UNTIL OCTOBER.


TWO EASTER EGG HUNTS IN MAQUOKETA THIS
SATURDAY, APRIL 13TH.
KIDS CAN GO TO BOTH.

THE KIWANIS HUNT AT NINE A.M.
IN THE GREEN SPACE DOWNTOWN.
IF INCLEMENT WEATHER, IT WILL BE
HELD AT THE MAQUOKETA MIDDLE
SCHOOL.


AND  SATURDAY... HUNT ALSO AT CLOVER RIDGE PLACE. 
IN THE COURTYARD, STARTING AT 1 P.M.
IF INCLEMENT WEATHER,  IT WILL BE HELD IN THE
CLOVER RIDGE GREAT ROOM.
