FRIDAY DAILY

ABOVE...THE SIGN AT THE OLD BRIDGE. 
THE NEW SABULA BRIDGE OPENS TONIGHT.
    NOW, WITH 2 NEW BRIDGES, A NICE EASY DRIVE FROM SABULA TO SAVANNA.    
MORE INFORMATION..
IT OPENED EARLY...THIS AFTERNOON.
BELOW, A PHOTO OF IT.
AND OF COURSE, WHEN YOU GO OVER IT AT THE EDGE
OF SABULA,  YOU THEN GO OVER THE $80 MILLION DOLLAR NEW MAIN BRIDGE WHICH OPENED
LAST NOVEMBER AND HAS BEEN CLOSED, WAITING
FOR THE SMALLER BRIDGE AT SABULA TO OPEN.
BOTH ARE NEEDED TO CROSS THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER.
AND..... I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT THE FREE
FERRY SERVICE WILL CONTINUE ACROSS THE RIVER THROUGH SUNDAY FOR THE BENEFIT OF TOURISTS.  



THE NEW JACKSON COUNTY HOSPITAL IN MAQUOKETA
TO LOOK LIKE THIS WHEN IT OPENS IN ABOUT 2 YEARS.
VIEW FROM HIGHWAY 61.   IT WILL BE LOCATED JUST SOUTH OF WAL MART.



LAST NIGHT THE MAQUOKETA VOLLEYBALL TEAM LOST TO DYERSVILLE BECKMAN, 3 TO 0.




THE MAQUOKETA CARDINALS PLAY AT DEWITT 
TONIGHT.   THE GAME WILL BE ON KMAQ TONIGHT AT
ABOUT  7:15.    THAT MEANS ALSO ON THE KMAQ WEB
SITE HOME PAGE.
