WEDNESDAY DAILY

DAVE JOHNSON, LEFT, WAS HONORED RECENTLY BY THE IOWA BANKERS
ASSOCIATION FOR HIS 50 YEARS OF BANKING IN MAQUOKETA.




 
NEW MAQUOKETA CITY MANAGER GERALD SMITH WAS THE SPEAKER AT ROTARY THIS NOON.    THE ST. LOUIS NATIVE IS A ST. LOUIS CARDINAL FAN.
HE IS GLAD TO BE IN MAQUOKETA, A SMALL CITY COMPARED TO THE LARGE ONES HE HAS WORKED AT OVER 25 YEARS.  HE LIVES IN AN APARTMENT IN THE SWAGOSA SUBDIVISION.        ONE OF HIS MAIN INTERESTS IS THE
FORMATION OF A MODEL PLAN FOR THE CITY OF MAQUOKETA.   HE AND HIS WIFE HAVE THREE CHILDREN, AGE 30, 26 AND 22 AND HE IS A GRANDFATHER.
