TUESDAY DAILY

A TOWER CLIMBER FROM DIXON, ILLINOIS WAS HERE MONDAY TO CHANGE
A BAD GUY WIRE FOR THE KMAQ 400 FOOT TOWER.    HE COULD NOT WORK
ON AN  "RF HOT AM TOWER" ... SO KMAQ-AM WAS OFF-THE-AIR WHILE
WORKING ON THE TOWER.     NEAR THE BOTTOM, ONE END OF GUY WIRE
WAS WORN AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED.     SO, FIRST  HE PUT IN A
TEMPORARY GUY WIRE.    THEN TOOK OUT THE OLD GUY AND REPLACED IT
WITH THE NEW, TIGHTENED IT AND TOOK OUT THE TEMPORARY.
