TUESDAY DAILY REPORT

THE 10U BIG BEND LADY BUCKS ALL-STAR TEAM IS HEADING TO FLORIDA FOR THE BABE RUTH LEAGUE SOFTBALL WORLD SERIES.   THEY WON THEIR STATE TOURNAMENT A FEW WEEKS AGO AND THIS PAST WEEKEND WENT
5 AND 0 IN THE REGIONALS.   THEY WILL FACE-OFF AGAINST 7 OTHER REGIONS FROM THE UNITED STATES AND ALSO TEAMS FROM MEXICO, JAPAN, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, JUST TO NAME A FEW.   THEY ARE NOW GOING
TO HAVE FUND RAISERS TO FINANCE THE TRIP.     IN PHOTO BELOW..
FRONT ROW:  BAILEE PETRY, JORDAN ARMBRUSTER, ADDISON HOLST.
MIDDLE ROW:   CARLEY CAVANAGH, AUBREY HOWELL,  MADISON KLUEVER,
KALYN HACKMAN, PAIGE HOLST, HALEIGH BANOWETZ,  ALLIE COLSCHEN.
BACK ROW:   JESSICA KLUEVER, HEAD COACH KATE  CAVANAGH, HOPE MEYER, COACH RYAN HACKMAN.    THE GIRLS ARE FROM DELMAR,
CHARLOTTE, GOOSE LAKE, PRESTON, SABULA, ANDOVER AND MAQUOKETA.

JESSICA KEAN OF MAQUOKETA ANNOUNCED YESTERDAY THAT SHE WILL
RUN FOR HOUSE DISTRICT 58.    PETE HIRD FOR PERSONAL REASONS
IS REMOVING HIS NAME FROM THE BALLOT IN NOVEMBER.    KEAN
AND HUSBAND MIKE HAVE 2 PRE-SCHOOL KIDS.   HE WORKS AT JOHN DEERE IN DUBUQUE.   THEY LIVE IN MAQUOKETA AND SHE IS A BOARD MEMBER OF SUNSHINE CHILD CARE AND SHE WORKS WITH A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION TO HELP CHILDREN WITH CANCER.   SHE ALSO IS A FREELANCE WRITER.
SHE IS A DEMOCRAT.    RUNNING AS A REPUBLICAN FOR THE STATE SEAT IS
ANDY McKEAN OF ANAMOSA.

THE BUS IS NEARLY HALF FULL....WE WILL BE GOING!!

THEY ARE POURING THE CONCRETE IN FRONT OF KMAQ TODAY.   THIS
PHOTO IS LOOKING THROUGH THE KMAQ FRONT WINDOW.     THE BRICKS COME LAST ALONG THE CURB.
