TUESDAY DAILY REPORT

WE ESCAPED THE SNOW STORM!
JUST LIGHT SNOW THIS MORNING ALONG WITH A LITTLE
SLEET AND SOME RAIN AND TODAY A HIGH OF 35.
ROADS AND STREETS ARE GOOD.   NOTHING NEW ON THE
GROUND.   WILL BE COLDER TOMORROW AND THURSDAY,
BUT NO SNOW.     THE WEATHER SHOULD BE GOOD FOR
THE KMAQ FARM AND HOME SHOW TOMORROW.

HILLARY CLINTON AND DONALD TRUMP WERE THE WINNERS
AT THE JACKSON COUNTY CAUCUSES.
HILLARY GOT 50%, 46% FOR BERNIE SANDERS AND 4% FOR
MARTIN O'MALLEY.
ON THE REPUBLICAN SIDE:
TRUMP 32.9%, TED CRUZ 28.5% ANDA MARCO RUBIO 19.9%.

WE HAVE ANOTHER CANDIDATE FOR JACKSON COUNTY SHERIFF
TO CHALLENGE SHERIFF KETTMAN.    HE IS BRENT KILBURG, BORN
AND RAISED NEAR SPRINGBROOK AND A PATAROLMAN NOW FOR
THE DAVENPORT POLICE DEPARTMENT.
THREE ARE NOW RUNNING.   LAST WEEK, THE BELLEVUE POLICE
CHIEF SCHROEDER THREW HIS HAT IN THE RING.

TOURNAMENT BASKETBALL IS RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER.
THE PAIRINGS FOR GIRL'S ACTION HAVE BEEN ANNOUNCED AND THE
MAQUOKETA GIRLS IN 4-A WILL AGAIN PLAY DEWITT, AT DEWITT,
ON FEBRUARY 17TH.     THE SABERS HAVE WON TWO REGULAR SEASON
GAMES OVER THE CARDINALS BY 11 AND 13 POINTS.   THE WINNER
ON THE 17TH WILL PLAY THE MARION INDIANS WHO RECEIVED A FIRST-ROUND BYE.

TONIGHT, THE GIRLS HAVE A WAMAC REGULAR SEASON GAME AGAINST
MOUNT VERNON AT THE LOCAL GYM AND THE CARDINAL BOYS ARE

SHE IS ONE OF MAQUOKETA'S BEST BOWLERS, SAM CLASEN.    I DON'T KNOW HER, BUT READ HER NAME OFTEN ON THE BOWLING SCORES
PROGRAM MORNINGS ON KMAQ.     TODAY IN THE ONE O'CLOCK LEAGUE AT TIMBER LANES, SHE HAD A 246 AND A  HIGH SERIES ALSO OF 652.
THE MEN'S CITY TOURNAMENT IS GOING ON ALL THIS WEEK.

HOPE THOSE OF YOU WHO LIVE IN THIS AREA CAN MAKE IT TO THE KMAQ
FARM AND HOME SHOW TOMORROW, OR THURSDAY, OR BOTH DAYS.
PEARSON CENTER ON THE FAIRGROUNDS IS VERY FULL WITH EXHIBITORS AND THEIR DISPLAYS.
TODAY WAS  SET-UP DAY.
