A LITTLE SUSHINE THIS MORNING, AND MOSTLY CLOUDY THIS AFTERNOON
WITH A HIGH TODAY IN THE MID 20'S.    COLDER WEATHER FOR THE REST
OF THE WEEK.

NO LOCAL BIG NEWS TODAY.

BUT IN SPORTS:

A LOT OF  YOU KNOW DAN BECK, LONGTIME JACKSON COUNTY BASKETBALL COACH IN PRESTON AND NOW EASTON VALLEY AT MILES.    HE GOT HIS 600 VICTORY LAST WEEK AND THERE WILL BE A RECEPTION FOR HIM TONIGHT
AFTER THE BOY'S VARSITY GAME IN MILES.

LAST NIGHT, THE MAQUOKETA GIRLS IN A NON-CONFERENCE GAME
HERE, LOST TO #13 RATED IN 2-A CASCADE, 42 TO 35.

TONIGHT, THE CARDINAL GIRLS AND BOYS BASKETBALL TEAMS PLAY A GIRL-BOY DOUBLE-HEADER AT ANAMOSA.

LIKE THE GIRLS, THE CARDINAL BOYS PLAY DAVENPORT ASSUMPTION
IN TOURNAMENT ACTION AT 6:30 P.M. ON MONDAY, FEB. 23RD.....AT THE DEWITT GYM.

THE MAQUOKETA BOYS BOWLING TEAM TOOK FIRST PLACE IN THE
CAMANCHE INVITATIONAL SATURDAY.    THE CARDINALS ROLLED
A 3248...2ND BEST IN SCHOOL HISTORY.   NAMED TO THE ALL-TOURNAMENT
TEAM FROM MAQUOKETA, DALTON WAUGH, WHO WAS FIRST....LUKE BRAME, WHO WAS SECOND....AND CONNER SCHNOOR WHO TIED FOR 6TH
INDIVIDUALLY.

NIGHT AT THE VOY 1 THEATRE.    OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AT REGULAR
