WEDNESDAY DAILY REPORT

FRIDAY, SHOULD BE NICE AGAIN, BUT NOT AS WARM.

THE MAQUOKETA CITY COUNCIL THIS WEEK AGREED TO POSTPONE
A DECISION ON A STREETSCAPE PROJECT AT QUARRY AND MAIN
($400,000 ESTIMATED COST) UNTIL THIS FALL.     IN THE MEANTIME,
THEY ARE GOING TO HIRE ENGINEERS TO GIVE THEM A COST ESTIMATE TO DESIGN AND DO SIMILAR INTERSECTIONS (AT LEAST TWO) SOUTH ON MAIN STREET.

THE MAQUOKETA HIGH SCHOOL BOY'S BOWLING TEAM WILL BOWL
IN THE STATE TOURNAMENT IN DES MOINES NEXT WEEK.   FRIDAY, IN A  QUALIFYING MEET IN CAMANCHE, THE CARDINALS TOOK SECOND
IN QUALIFYING, WITH 3,136 PINS.    THEY WERE LED BY SENIOR LUKE
QUINLAN WITH GAMES OF 279 AND 202.

IN TOURNAMENT BASKETBALL, TONIGHT THE CARDINAL GIRLS PLAY AT SOLON AT 7.   MATT CLARK WILL BROADCAST THE GAME ON KMAQ-FM AND
OUR INTERNET SITE, STARTING AT 6:50.

PASTOR JUDY HEINRICH WAS THE GUEST SPEAKER AT ROTARY TODAY.
