PROJECT CONCERN, SERVING JACKSON COUNTY, $4,000 FOR THE 2-1-1 INFORMATION REFERR4AL HOTLINE.
YMCA, MAQUOKETA, FOR THEIR LIVESTRONG PROGRAM.
PRESTON MANNA CENTER, $1,000.
MAQUOKETA CARDINAL SCHOOL BACK PACK CLUB, $4,850, NOW FIVE YEARS OLD THAT HELPS NEEDY STUDENTS AND FAMILIES.
OHNWARD FINE ARTS CENTER MAQUOKETA FOR STAGE PLATFORMS.
JACKSON COUNTY CONSERVATION, $8,000 FOR NEW "MY COMMUNITY-MY
FUTURE" PROGRAM, WHICH WILL SELECT 6 AT-RISK HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS TO WORK IN A SUMMER PROGRAM.

THE JACKSON COUNTY SUPERVISORS NEXT WEEK WILL MEET AT 9 A.M. MONDAY INSTEAD OF USUAL TUESDAY 9 A.M. TIME.
IT IS TO ALLOW SUPERVISOR JACK WILLEY TIME TUESDAY TO
BE AT THE MOLINE AIRPORT TO SEE HIS SON, JASON, OFF TO DUTY
IN AFGHANISTAN, WHERE HE WILL BE FOR AROUND 400 DAYS.
HIS REGULAR JOB, THAT HE WILL RETURN TO, IS WITH THE DAVENPORT
POLICE DEPARTMENT.    HE WILL BE DOING MP WORK WITH THE RESERVE UNIT.
