GRANT WOOD SCENIC BYWAY

THE GRANT WOOD SCENIC BYWAY IS AN 80-MILE IOWA SCENIC BYWAY THAT
TRAVELS THROUGH JONES AND JACKSON COUNTIES, INCLUDING THE CITIES OF WYOMING, MONMOUTH, BALDWIN, MAQUOKETA, ANDREW, SPRINGBROOK
AND BELLEVUE.    THE BOARD WILL HOST A MEETING ON MONDAY, NOVEMBER 4TH AT THE CALKINS BARN AT WYOMING TO GATHER INFORMATION FROM LOCAL COMMUNITY MEMBERS FOR INCLUSION IN THE GWSB CORRIDOR MANAGEMENT PLAN.     THE MEETING WILL BEGIN AT 5 P.M. NOVEMBER 4TH.      DARYL PARKER OF BELLEVUE, WHO IS THE EXECUTIVE
DIRECTOR OF JACKSON COUNTY CONSERVATION AND THE PRESIDENT
OF THE JACKSON COUNTY TOURISM COUNCIL, IS A MEMBER OF THE
GWSB BOARD MEETING NOVEMBER 4TH.   ALSO ON THE BOARD,
TOM DEVINE OF MAQUOKETA, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE MAQUOKETA
CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND JULIE BAINBRIDGE OF SABULA, WHO IS
THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE COUNTY TOURISM ORGANIZATION, WHICH IS HEADQUARTERED IN THE ONE ROOM SCHOOL HOUSE REPLICA
AT SABULA, THAT ALSO SERVES AS A WELCOME CENTER FOR MOTORISTS
ENTERING JACKSON COUNTY ON HIGHWAY 64.    YOU ARE WELCOME TO
ATTEND THE MEETING NOVEMBER 4TH AND WILL ENJOY SEEING THE NEW CALKINS BARN IN DOWNTOWN WYOMING, A GIFT TO THE CITY.   JONES COUNTY HAS MANY TOURISM ATTRACTIONS AND....
JACKSON COUNTY IS A BIG TOURISM COUNTY!
