A MAQUOKETA WOMAN, NICHOLE KRUSCHKE, AGE 39, HAS BEEN CHARGED WITH TAKING CASH FROM FAREWAY WHERE SHE WORKED.
THE POLICE REPORT SAID BETWEEN JULY OF 2011 AND JUNE 2012 SHE PLACED COUPONS IN HER CASH DRAWER AND REMOVED THE CASH FROM THE REGISTER.   POLICE SAID SHE WOULD EXCHANGE COUPONS FOR CASH WITHOUT THE ITEMS BEING PURCHASED BY ANYONE.   THE AMOUNT
MISSING IS LISTED AT $1,780.97.     SHE WAS CHARGED WITH THEFT IN THE SECOND DEGREE, A CLASS D FELONY.

THE JACKSON COUNTY FAMILY BACK TO SCHOOL FAMILY FUN FEST WILL BE FROM 11 A.M. UNTIL 2 P.M. TOMORROW AT THE YMCA.    FREE LUNCH AND
PRIZES, PLUS KID'S ACTIVITIES, INCLUDING SWIMMING AND GAMES.

KMAQ'S  ANNUAL BACK-TO-SCHOOL ROAD SHOWS BEGIN MONDAY.    THE FIRST AT 9:05 A.M. WILL BE FOR THE MAQUOKETA SCHOOL DISTRICT....UNTIL 10:30 A.M.
AND THE SECOND WILL BE FROM DEWITT AT 1:05 P.M.    DOING THESE 90-MINUTE REMOTE SHOWS AGAIN THIS YEAR WILL BE KMAQ STATION MANAGER LEIGHTON HEPKER.   THERE WILL BE NO "JUST TALK" SHOWS
NEXT WEEK.
