BREEZY...PARTLY SUNNY AND AROUND 70 TODAY. A LITTLE COOLER
TOMORROW.

THE MAQUOKETA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE ANNOUNED AT NOON TODAY
THAT STACY DRISCOLL, CHAMBER EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, HAS RESIGNED.
CURRENT BOARD PRESIDENT TOM DEVINE, A FULLTIME EMPLOYEE AT THE YMCA, WILL SERVE AS INTERIM EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR BEGINNING IMMEDIATELY.
NO OTHER DETAILS WERE PROVIDED IN A NEWS RELEASE ISSUED DURING
THE MONTHLY CHAMBER LUNCHEON AT NOON.
SHE ALSO SERVED AS ECONOMIC DIRECTOR FOR THE CITY OF MAQUOKETA
AND ECONOMIC DIRECTOR FOR JACKSON COUNTY. SHE ANSWERED TO THREE
BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND LEAVES ALL THREE POSITIONS.

THE LONG TIME ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT TO THE JACKSON COUNTY SUPERVISORS ANNOUNCED THIS WEEK THAT SHE WILL RETIRE JUNE 30TH.
MARTHA GANZER HAS WORKED FOR JACKSON COUNTY FOR OVER 22 YEARS.
THE JOB WILL BE POSTED INTERNALLY AT THE COURT HOUSE AND IF THERE
ARE NO QUALIFIED APPLICANTS, THE SUPERVISORS WILL OPEN UP THE JOB POSITION TO THE PUBLIC.

AN EAST MOLINE MAN WON $10,000 IN A SCRATCH-OFF TICKET HE BOUGHT
IN MAQUOKETA AT CASEY'S ON WESTGATE DRIVE. HE HAD LUNCH IN MAQUOKETA AND STOPPED FOR GAS AT CASEY'S.

THE BIG DELMAR METHODIST FISH FRY IS THIS FRIDAY NIGHT AT
GROSSMAN HALL. IT'S A GOOD ONE!

THE ANNUAL EASTER EGG HUNT SPONSORED BY THE KIWANIS CLUB WILL BE
AT 11 THIS SATURDAY MORNING, BEHIND THE JACKSON COUNTY SENIOR
CENTER, JUST BEFORE THE ENTRANCE TO THE FAIRGROUNDS. FREE FOR BABIES THROUGH AGE 9.
