  2. People really do need to support Maquoketa businesses. I am just glad we still have a movie theater in town!

  3. I'd support maquoketa businesses, but they don't offer prices that support me! So i'll continue to drive 60 mph to drive out of town that has what i'm looking for, for a price i can afford !! :)
As far as the empty theaters are that is awesome, that way you can enjoy watching a movie with no disrespecting teeny tots or someone making noise, did they ever get that furry bugger running around the place yet??

  4. The Voy theater is perfectly fine. I went there as a child and now take my children. I am glad to see the new seats. As far as a rodent problem, it can happen. I am sure they have taken care of the problem.

  5. That makes no sense at all that u would drive 45 min. Away because the price suits u..$3.79 a gallon of gas, one way there us a movie ticket.

  6. WTF! I am not mentioning anything about driving 45 minutes to see a movie Einstein!, i am merely stating a fact of high greedy prices in this town!! for instance i was looking at a refrigerator here and searched other places that is out of town and they had the similar one for over 200 less so yeah i will drive 45 at 3.79 and drive 60MPH not 75 like you! and save money point proven!! you ja

  7. I agree about high appliance prices. All I could get here was low-end, with HIGH prices. So, I went to Zirkelbach's in Clinton, and got SO much more for my money. They even delivered free to Maquoketa.
Even with the high gas prices, I did better shopping around.
