90 DEGREES IN MAQUOKETA!

MINOR ACCIDENT YESTERDAY IN MAQUOKETA. TOM TUBBS, 67, OF MAQUOKETA,
BACKED INTO A VEHICLE DRIVEN BY ALI LAI OF MAQUOKETA, AGE 16.
NO INJURIES. MINOR DAMAGE.

HUSCO INTERNATIONAL OF MAQUOKETA HAS BEEN NAMED AN HONORARY SPONSOR FOR THE 2011 TIMBER CITY DAYS AND ADVENTURE RACE, JUNE 24 AND 25. THEY DONATED $2,000 TO THE EVENT. HUSCO'S COMPANY NAME WILL BE ON PROMOTIONAL MATERIALS. HUSCO HAS BEEN IN THE BIG SOUTH INDUSTRIAL PARK SINCE 2008. THEY OCCUPY ABOUT 75,000 SQUARE FEET IN THE GENERAC BUILDING.. THEY EMPLOY 105 PEOPLE WITH 54 OF THOSE LIVING IN MAQUOKETA. AND PLANS CALL FOR A 7TH LINE TO BE INSTALLED IN AUGUST.
