A NEW BUSINESS OPENED IN MAQUOKETA TUESDAY!
TEA + MORE
IT IS OWNED BY JUDY AND RICH RAINS AND IS IN THEIR HISTORIC HOME AT
413 WEST PLATT STREET. THEIR HOME IS ONE OF MAQUOKETA'S OWN NATIONAL
HISTORIC REGISTER HOMES. IT WAS BUILT IN 1884 BY GEORGE COOPER, THE FIRST PRESIDENT OF THE JACKSON COUNTY FAIRBOARD.
TEA + MORE
WILL HAVE ANTIQUE BUFFETS FEATURING HOME-BAKED TREATS AND FRUIT CUPS WITH COFFEE, JUICE OR ONE OF THEIR DELICIOUS LOOSE LEAF TEAS.
PLUS, IT WILL OFFER AN OPPORTUNITY TO SHOP FOR CHRISTIAN RESOURCE NEEDS
LOCALLY. THEY HAVE A SELECT VARIETY OF BIBLES, BOOKS, CDs, AND DVDs FOR EVERYONE. ALSO A LINE OF HEARTFELT GREETING CARDS FOR MANY OCCASIONS AND PRICED AT 79-CENTS. THE LINE OF BOOKS IS BIG....ON GRIEVING, WORRY,
FEAR, PARENTING, PRAYER, MEN'S INTERESTS, WOMEN'S INTERESTS, PLUS TEEN
AND CHILDREN'S BOOKS.
THERE IS PARKING BEHIND THE HOME AND YOU ENTER AT THE EAST DOOR
BY THE GARDEN. THE BUFFET HOURS ARE 10 AM UNTIL 2 PM TUESDAY THROUGH FRIDAY AND 10 AM UNTIL 1 PM ON SATURDAYS.
