THE MOONEY HOLLOW BARN
IS JACKSON COUNTY'S ANSWER TO THE "RYMAN THEATRE" IN NASHVILLE, HOME OF THE
GRAND OLE OPRY FOR MANY, MANY YEARS. IT IS LOCATED
ON HIGHWAY 52 ABOUT HALF-WAY BETWEEN SABULA AND BELLEVUE. YOU CAN'T MISS IT. THE SILO HAS A GIANT
FIDDLE PAINTED ON IT.
THERE IS A BAR DOWNSTAIRS
AND YOU GO UPSTAIRS TO
THE 400 OR MORE SEAT THEATRE. JACKSON COUNTY IS FORTUNATE TO HAVE A GUY LIKE KEVIN PETESCH BRINGING BIG COUNTRY ENTERTAINERS TO ENJOY AT HIS PLACE. BILL ANDERSON WAS THERE A COUPLE YEARS AGO,
AND GENE WATSON LAST YEAR. HE HAS MORE COMING IN THE NEAR FUTURE.
