7 BELOW LAST NIGHT.

TWO SNOWMOBILES AND DRIVERS WENT UNDER THE MAQUOKETA RIVER
ICE ABOUT A MILE NORTH OF PRESTON LAST NIGHT.
ONE MAN WAS RESCUED AND THE OTHER IS MISSING. THE DRIVER RESCUED
IS FROM SABULA AND I ASSUME THE MISSING OPERATOR IS ALSO FROM THERE.
I WILL HAVE MORE DETAILS ON TOMORROW'S DAILY.

NEIL AND BRITTANY SCHROEDER OF LONGMONT, COLORADO ARE PARENTS
OF BOY. PATERNAL GRANDPARENTS ARE JOHN AND DELLA SCHROEDER OF
MAQUOKETA.

THE CLIMATOLOGY BUREAU CHIEF FOR THE STATE OF IOWA, HARRY HILLAKER,
WILL BE AT THE KMAQ FARM AND HOME SHOW ON THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 10TH.
HE WILL BE THE GUEST SPEAKER AT NOON. HOW ABOUT THAT! THE IOWA HEAD WEATHERMAN COMING TO MAQUOKETA. EARLIER THIS WEEK, WE ANNOUNCED
ALSO THAT THE IOWA SECRETARY OF AGRICULTURE, BILL NORTHEY, WILL
BE AT THE SHOW ON WEDNESDAY, TO SPEAK AT NOON.

HAVE A GOOD WEEK.
