IT WAS COLD SUNDAY NIGHT
(6 ABOVE) WHEN NANCY AND I
LEFT THE LION'S SOUP SUPPER
AT DELMAR AND HEADED FOR
BELLEVUE TO VIEW THE CANADIAN PACIFIC HOLIDAY TRAIN AS IT PASSED THROUGH
TOWN. ABOUT 20 CARS
LIKE YOU SEE HERE (AND BELOW.)
MUSIC OF COURSE AND ONE BOXCAR HAD A STAGE WITH
A CHRISTMAS MUSIC SHOW
BY PROFESSIONALS RIDING ALONG ON THE TRAIN, WITH
SANTA. IT WAS ABOUT A 30-MINUTE VISIT.
THE RAILROAD HAS HAD THIS
TRAIN FOR MANY YEARS AND IT HAS VISITED HUNDREDS OF COMMUNITIES ALONG ITS TRACKS AND HAS RAISED MILLIONS OF DOLLARS FOR THOSE IN NEED AT CHRISTMAS TIME. CLICK-ON BOTH PHOTOS TO ENLARGE THEM.
WE ENJOYED THIS SPECIAL TOUCH TO CHRISTMAS HERE IN JACKSON COUNTY.
