THE BELLEVUE PARADE FUND RAISER SATURDAY PUT THE AMOUNT OVER
THE $250,000 GOAL WHEN $50,000-PLUS WAS RAISED, MAINLY THROUGH
AUCTIONS. TICKETS ON THE 40 YARD LINE FOR THE IOWA-OHIO STATE
GAME WENT FOR $5,000 AND TICKETS TO JAY LENO'S SHOW AND PRIVATE TOUR
OF HIS FAMOUS GARAGE WHERE HE STORES COLLECTOR VEHICLES WENT FOR
$9,000.

ON THE POLICE BLOTTER, HERB MEYER ON NORTH ELIZA REPORTED SATURDAY THAT TWO TIRES ON HIS VEHICLE HAD BEEN SLASHED.

SCHOOL BOARD MEETING AT 6 TONIGHT.

CITY COUNCIL MEETING AT 7 TONIGHT.

ANDREW SCHOOL BOARD MEETING AT 7:30 TONIGHT AND MAJOR ITEM ON AGENDA,
WHERE AND WHEN TO SEND THEIR MIDDLE SCHOOL AND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS NEXT YEAR.
EITHER TO MAQUOKETA, TO BELLEVUE OR BOTH COULD BE DECIDED TONIGHT.

IN FOOTBALL, MAQUOKETA PLAYS AT DEWITT FRIDAY NIGHT.
