SUNNY THIS MORNING AND CLOUDY THIS AFTERNOON.   LIGHT SNOW IN FORECAST FOR TONIGHT.    TODAY'S HIGH 31.

STATE WRESTLING TODAY:    IN 3-A, MARCUS BREEDEN OF MAQUOKETA WRESTLED
IN A THIRD ROUND CONSOLATION MATCH AGAINST A BETTENDORF WRESTLER AND GOT A REVERSAL WITH SECONDS REMAINING TO WIN THE 119 POUND MATCH AND
IMPROVING HIS RECORD TO 22 AND 7.    HE WRESTLES TONIGHT IN THE 3-A
CONSOLATION SEMIFINAL AND IS GUARANTEED NO WORSE THAN 6TH PLACE IN THE STATE.
IN THE MOST EXCITING MATCH OF THE WEEK, TIM O'CONNELL OF MAQUOKETA,
135 POUND SENIOR, WENT AGAINST THE NUMBER ONE RANKED WRESTLER
AND LOST 11 TO 10 AND WILL WRESTLE IN THE CONSOLATION SEMIFINALS
TONIGHT.    HE WILL FINISH NO LOWER THAN 6TH.
AT 160 POUNDS, CARDINAL SENIOR THOMAS MAYBERRY WAS PINNED THIS
AFTERNOON IN 1:38.    HE WAS AHEAD 4 TO 0 WHEN HIS OPONENT GOT A HEAD-
LOCK ON HIM.    MAYBERRY, NOW 36 AND 6, WILL WRESTLE FOR 7TH OR 8TH
PLACE TOMORROW AFTERNOON.
THIS AFTERNOON IN 2-A, NORTHEAST GRAPPLER SENIOR SPENCER LEUDERS WAS PINNED AND WILL WRESTLE TOMORROW AFTERNOON FOR 7TH OR 8TH PLACE
IN THE 189 POUND WEIGHT CLASS.   HE IS NOW 32 AND 6.    THE OTHER NORTHEAST WRESTLER WENT OUT OF TOURNAMENT YESTERDAY.

NO BIG LOCAL MAQUOKETA  NEWS TO REPORT TODAY.
