PARTLY SUNNY AND WARM AGAIN TODAY. IN UPPER 70'S.

AT THE MAQUOKETA SCHOOL BOARD MEETING THIS WEEK, THE BOARD RECEIVED RESIGNATIONS FROM RICHARD BATEY AS MIDDLE SCHOOL WRESTLING COACH.
ALSO FROM CINDY WIESE AS VARSITY GIRL'S TENNIS COACH.

AL EHL, AGE 88, DIED TODAY. HE WAS A FORMER CITY COUNCILMAN AND
COUNTY SUPERVISOR. SERVICES PENDING AT CARSON'S.

LARRY HAGER CELEBRATED HIS 88TH BIRTHDAY WEDNESDAY. HE NOW LIVES AT THE VETERAN'S HOME IN MARSHALLTOWN. LONGTIME MAQUOKETA SIGN PAINTER.

THE MAQUOKTA CARDINAL BOY'S BASEBALL TEAM HAS WON 6 GAMES SO FAR THIS
SEASON, ALREADY 2 MORE THAN LAST YEAR. YESTERDAY, THEY LOST A DOUBLE - HEADER TO WATERLOO COLUMBUS. PAT BOLLMAN AND RAY CAVANAUGH
ARE CO-COACHES. THE MAQUOKETA GIRLS ARE DOING BETTER. THEY BEAT WATERLOO COLUMBUS TWICE YESTERDAY.

DR. WALLER'S 13 YEAR OLD SON HAD A HOLE IN ONE THIS WEEK AT THE MAQUOKETA COUNTRY CLUB COURSE. WHEN I PLAY GOLF, IT TAKES ME 5 STROKES TO GET
ON THE GREEN.

THE CIRCUS COMES TO TOWN THIS SUNDAY FOR TWO PERFORMANCES.

KMAQ NIGHT AT THE RACES...POSTPONED FROM LAST SATURDAY....IS THIS SATURDAY NIGHT. WE'LL BE DOING SOME BROADCASTING FROM THE SPEEDWAY
FROM 4:30 UNTIL THE FIRST RACE AT 6.

THE JACKSON COUNTY RODEO IS NEXT WEEK AT RURAL BELLEVUE.

KMAQ HAS A BUS GOING TO THE CARDINALS-BREWERS GAME AT MILWAUKEE JULY 9TH... A THURSDAY AFTERNOON GAME. WE STILL HAVE SEATS LEFT.
