SUNNY AND COLD TODAY.

COUNTRY SINGER KEITH ANDERSON WILL BE THE SATURDAY NIGHT HEADLINER FOR THE JACKSON COUNTY FAIR, WHICH RUNS FROM JULY 29 THRU AUGUST 2.
OPENING FOR THE BAND WILL BE THE BAND, "THE LOST TRAILERS".
THE ANNOUNCEMENT WAS MADE LAST NIGHT AT THE FAIRGROUNDS DURING SPONSOR'S NIGHT. ANDERSON HAD A SONG IN THE TOP 10 IN 2008 CALLED,
"WHEN I HEAR YOUR NAME". LOST TRAILER IS KNOWN FOR THEIR SONG "HOLLER
BACK". THIS YEAR, WEDNESDAY NIGHT WILL BE MONSTER TRUCK WAR NIGHT....THURSDAY, THE TRADITIONAL STOCK CAR RACES...FRIDAY THE TRUCK AND TRACTOR PULL....SATURDAY NIGHT KEITH ANDERSON AND SUNDAY NIGHT, WILL BE DEMOLITION NIGHT.

THE MAQUOKETA WRESTLERS WILL WRESTLE AT MANCHESTER TONIGHT.

TOMORROW NIGHT, KMAQ-FM WILL BROADCAST THE GAME BETWEEN THE
MAQUOKETA GIRLS AND RATED MT. VERNON, TO BE PLAYED AT THE NEW CARDINAL GYM. LEIGHTON HEPKER WILL BE AT THE PLAY-BY-PLAY MIKE.

THIS YEAR'S "MEN WHO COOK" DINNER WILL BE SUNDAY, MARCH 1ST AT THE JANSEN
HALL INSIDE THE PEARSON CENTER ON THE FAIRGROUNDS IN MAQUOKETA.
THE PUBLIC IS WELCOME TO COME AND SAMPLE VARIOUS DISHES BY THE MEN OF THE DELMAR LIONS, THE MAQUOKETA OPTIMIST CLUB, THE MAQUOKETA ROTARY AND THE MAQUOKETA KIWANIS. TICKETS AGAIN THIS YEAR ARE $12 FOR
ADULTS AND $5 FOR AGES 5-12. I HAVE TICKETS HERE AT KMAQ.
