BREITBACH'S COUNTRY DINING BURNED TO THE GROUND EARLY THIS MORNING.
THE ORIGINAL HISTORIC (IOWA'S OLDEST RESTAURANT, BUILT IN 1853) BALLTOWN RESTAURANT (A KMAQ ADVERTISER) BURNED TO THE GROUND LAST CHRISTMAS EVE AND THE NEWLY CONSTRUCTED BUILDING OPENED IN JUNE. THEY WERE DOING GREAT BUSINESS. I HEARD THEY SERVED OVER 3,000 DINNERS THIS PAST SUNDAY. IT IS UNKNOWN WHAT STARTED THE FIRE. WE WERE UP THERE A COUPLE MONTHS AGO AND IT WAS A GREAT (BIG) PLACE, AND GREAT FOOD TOO.
NOW, WILL CINDY AND MIKE BREITBACH RE-BUILD AGAIN? I'LL KEEP YOU POSTED.

TWO MORE DEER ACCIDENTS YESTERDAY....VICKY FELDERMAN HIT ONE AND SO
DID TRACI LOTT.
