NICE SUNNY DAY TODAY....IN LOW 80'S. FORECAST FOR THE REST OF WEEK
LOOKS GOOD.

YOU DIDN'T MISS THE CHAIN SAW RIBBON CUTTING VIDEO....IT WAS NEVER PUT UP HERE ON THE DAILY.

A MAQUOKETA MAN, 40 YEAR OLD JERRY ANDRESEN, WAS KILLED INSTANTLY
AT AROUND 4 A.M. SATURDAY IN DAVENPORT, ON HIS WAY TO WORK.
HE WAS TRAVELING ON WELCOME WAY IN THE CENTER LANE APPROACHING THE INTERSECTION WITH 53 STREET, AND HIS 2008 KAWASAKI MOTORCYCLE STRUCK
THE SIDE OF A 1988 MERCURY DRIVIN BY A STERLING, ILLINOIS MAN.
ANDRESEN WAS THROWN FROM THE CYCLE. HE WAS WEARING A HELMET.
BOTH VEHICLES SUSTAINED HEAVY DAMAGE. THE CAR DRIVER WAS NOT INJURED.
