BEAUTIFUL MONDAY. SUNNY AND COOL FOR AUGUST. WEEKEND, EXCEPT FOR A COUPLE SHOWERS, WAS ALSO NICE AND THE WEEK AHEAD SHOULD BE PRETTY GOOD.

YESTERDAY AFTERNOON, THE ADDITION TO THE HIGH SCHOOL OPEN HOUSE
WAS HELD. SEE PHOTOS BELOW. NICE EVENT. I WAS SURPRISED THAT MANY SKIPPED THE EVENT.

THE JACKSON COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS HAVE TWO ADDITIONAL PARCELS OF LAND WHICH THEY RECEIVED AFTER THE TAXES WERE NOT PAID ON THE PROPERTIES.
THEY NOW OWN 2.52 ACRES AT GERMAN STREET AND CRESLANE THAT THEY WILL PUT UP FOR SALE. ALSO, A TRAILER PARK ON EAST PLATT STREET NEXT TO THE VET CLINIC. THE SUPERVISORS SAID THEY WILL DISMANTLE THE TRAILERS AND SELL THEM FOR SCRAP AND THEN SELL THE LAND. AND THE SUPERVISORS HAVE THE FORMER S & H INDUSTRIAL BUILDING ON SUMMIT STREET UP FOR SALE.
THERE HAS BEEN SOME INTEREST SHOWN IN THAT LARGE BUILDING.
