CLOUDY, WINDY AND COLD TODAY.

THERE WILL BE A 7TH GRADE FOOTBALL PROGRAM THIS FALL IN MAQUOKETA.
THE SCHOOL BOARD APPROVED $4,400 FROM THE GENERAL FUND TO PAY FOR COACHES AND BUS SERVICE TO AWAY GAMES AND KEVIN BOWMAN, MIDDLE SCHOOL ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL SAID HE WOULD RAISE THE MONEY FOR EQUIPMENT, PROBABLY WITH HELP FROM THE ATHLETIC BOOSTERS.

A VEHICLE REPORTED STOLEN BY KIMBERLY STREEPER FROM PACIFIC COAST FEATHER COMPANY PARKING LOT ON THURSDAY, ENDED UP NOT BEING STOLEN.
STREEPER'S BOYFRIEND HAD TAKEN THE CAR AND HAD NOT TOLD HER.
HOWEVER, THERE WAS ANOTHER VEHICLE REPORTED STOLEN. DEREK SULLIVAN
SAID HIS VEHICLE WAS TAKEN FROM 1205 EAST PLATT STREET THURSDAY AFTERNOON. IT IS STILL MISSING.'

THERE IS A SOLD SIGN UP AT THE FORMER JACK AND JILL STORE IN MAQUOKETA.
I'LL LET YOU KNOW WHEN I FIND OUT WHO BOUGHT THE LARGE BUILDING ON WEST PLATT STREET.

HAPPY ST. PAT'S DAY TOMORROW.

HAVE A GOOD WEEKEND.
