AT 103 POUNDS, FRESHMAN MARCU BREEDEN WILL MEET ANOTHER FRESHMAN WRESTLER FROM DENVER-TRIPOLI, WITH A 40 AND 0 RECORD.
AT 112 POUNDS, CARDINAL FRESHMAN TIM O'CONNELL GOES AGAINST A SOPHOMORE FROM ROLAND STORY. AND, AT 145 POUNDS, MAQUOKETA SENIOR BILLY KIRK WILL WRESTLE A JUNIOR FROM OSAGE.
DEWITT WILL HAVE 7 WRESTLERS AT STATE. AGAIN THIS YEAR, DR. PAUL KOOB WILL BROADCAST THE MATCHES "LIVE" FROM DES MOINES. HE WILL FOLLOW ALL 10 WRESTLERS STARTING JUST BEFORE 1 P.M. WEDNESDAY ON KMAQ FM, 95.1.

THE MAQUOKETA BOYS BASKETBALL TEAM PLAYS A NON-CONFERENCE GAME AT DUBUQUE HEMPSTEAD TONIGHT.

THE MAQUOKETA GIRLS LOST THEIR 2ND TOURNAMENT GAME SATURDAY NIGHT TO CEDAR RAPIDS XAVIER AND FINISHED THEIR SEASON.

THE 2ND ANNUAL "MEN WHO COOK" DINNER WAS A BIG SUCCESS YESTERDAY LATE AFTERNOON AT THE FAIRGROUNDS. OVER 500 ATTENDED. IT WAS SPONSORED BY THE MAQUOKETA ROTARY, MAQUOKETA OPTIMIST AND THE DELMAR LIONS.
