IT RAINED A LOT IN MAQUKETA TODAY. COLD TOO.

A MAQUOKETA MAN BACKED INTO A NEIGHBOR'S CARPORT YESTERDAY MORNING.
WILLAIM FORREST, 78, WAS BACKING FROM A PRIVATE DRIVE ON YALE AVENUE AND BACKED ACROSS THE STREET AND INTO THE CARPORT OF A MOBILE HOME OWNED BY TODD BARKER. $1,000 DAMAGE EACH, TO THE CAR AND THE CARPORT.

POLICE BLOTTER: ERIN MOORE REPORTED SOMEONE SPRAY PAINTED WORDS ON HER VEHICLE WHILE PARKED ON NORTH MAIN STREET.
AND..PHYLLIS EDWARDS REPORTED SOMEONE RAN INTO HER VAN MONDAY WHILE PARKED AT THE EAGLES CLUB.
LYLE DUHME REPORTED HIS RURAL MAILBOX WAS HIT AND LISTED THE DAMAGE AT $100.

TARA TALLMAN OF MAQUKETA IS THE MOTHER OF A BOY BORN A WEEK AGO AT THE LOCAL HOSPITAL. GRANDMOTHER IS DEB GOODWIN OF MAQUOKETA.
