A VISIT THIS AFTERNOON TO SEE THE NEW ADDITION TO TIMBER LANES.
THIS IS THE NEW TIMBER EVENT CENTER, CONNECTED TO TIMBER LANES AT RIGHT. NOTE
THE LARGE PAVED PARKING LOT. IT WILL BE
FINISHED TO THE LEFT SOON.
IT IS LARGE! WILL SEAT AROUND 500 AT ROUND
AND RECTANGULAR TABLES. NOTE, LARGE STAGE AND KNOTTY-PINE CEILING. THE TWO
CORNER DOORS LEAD TO A STORAGE AREA.
THIS PHOTO IS LOOKING EAST. LOTS OF NATURAL LIGHT WITH WINDOWS ON BOTH SIDES.
A REALLY NICE LARGE BAR IN THE EVENT CENTER. BAR STOOLS ARE NOT IN PHOTO AS
THEY WERE TAKEN OUT WHILE TREATING THE FLOOR. THIS BAR WILL BE USED ONLY WHEN A WEDDING, HIGH SCHOOL REUNION OR OTHER EVENT IS BEING HELD. THE OLDER BAR IS STILL
THERE TO BE USED DAILY BY BOWLERS. TIMBER LANES (NOW 27 YEARS OLD) IS OWNED BY LOUIE CLASEN. IN PHOTO, NOTE DAUGHTER SAMANTHA, CLASEN, MANAGER OF THE EVENT CENTER.
HER WEDDING RECEPTION WILL BE IN THE CENTER JUNE 2ND.
SHE, HER DAD AND BROTHER NICK WOULD EACH MAKE THE LIST MAQUOKETA'S TOP 20 BOWLERS.
SAMMI CLASEN SAID YES TO CASIE McLAUGHLIN'S PROPOSAL DURING LAST SATURDAY'S OPEN HOUSE. SHE IS EXCITED ABOUT THE NEW FACILITY...AND ABOUT HER WEDDING OF COURSE. SHE SAID THE EVENTS CENTER HAS BEEN IN THE PLANNING STAGE FOR EVER TWO YEARS.
REMEMBER REST ROOMS OF AMERICA YEARS AGO? THAT HAS CHANGED....MANY LOOK JUST
AS NICE AS THESE AT TIMBER CENTER.
AN OUT OF THE WAY OVERHEAD DOOR OPENS UP TIMBER LANES FROM THE NEW CENTER.
THERE IS A LARGER KITCHEN, BUT MOST LARGE EVENTS WILL BE CATERED, USING THE NEW KITCHEN. CASANDRA SAID THEY WILL CATER
SMALLER EVENTS.
CONGRATULATIONS LOUIE! ON THE WELL DONE
ADDITION!
